Marc Adams, associate superintendent of Meade County Schools, has begun his term as president of the Kentucky Association of School Administrators, assuming the organization’s top elected leadership role during KASA’s 2026 Annual Leadership Institute, held July 29–31 in Louisville.
As president, Adams will lead KASA’s Board of Directors and work with association members and staff to advance the organization’s priorities in advocacy, leadership development and support for Kentucky’s public school administrators.
Adams began his education career as an agriculture teacher in Meade County before moving into school leadership as an assistant principal and principal. He later joined the district’s central-office leadership team and now serves as associate superintendent.
A KASA member since 2012, Adams has served the association as a member of its Board of Directors, Nominating Committee and Leadership Development Design Team, as well as a KASA ambassador. In 2024, KASA recognized him as its district-level Administrator of the Year for his leadership and service to public education.
Adams’s community involvement includes service as an education representative on the Meade County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, membership on the original Meade County Work Ready Committee and work as an education partner with the Meade County Industrial Authority. He also serves on the advisory board of Radiant Church Kentucky.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and completed his master’s degree and certifications for principal, instructional supervisor and superintendent at Western Kentucky University.
