
One person has been charged in connection with “Cat in the Hat” social media threats, according to the Nicholasville Police Department.
Police say, with the help of the FBI, a minor suspect has been identified and charged in connection with the social media trend “Cat in the Hat.”
Sam Wade, Nicholasville Police Department Public Information Officer, says these threats cause problems for parents and students.
Jessamine County Schools thanked law enforcement for their quick action after they had previously warned families about the social media threat.
