
A man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Nashville, Tennessee on Easter was taken into custody in western Kentucky.
According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, 46-year-old Anton Rucker, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, was found by detectives in a home in Princeton, Kentucky on Tuesday evening, April 2.
Officers were searching for Rucker following a shooting that killed one person and injured several others on March 31 at Roasted Salemtown in Nashville.
When detectives located Rucker, he surrendered without incident.
He was charged with being a fugitive from another state by the Princeton Police Department.
Members of the Western Kentucky Violent Crime Task Force found Rucker. They include members of the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and federal agents. They were assisted by ATF-Paducah and Nashville officers, U.S. Marshal’s Service, Kentucky State Police, Princeton Police Department, PNTF, Nashville Metro police and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, 43 year-old Terrance “Supreme” Hall, of Princeton, was with Rucker when he was arrested. Hall was also arrested by Princeton police on charges of being a fugitive from another state in an unrelated assault case.
While serving a search warrant at the Princeton home, investigators found additional contraband that led to Hall being charged with trafficking in a controlled substance – first degree (methamphetamine), trafficking marijuana, possession of a controlled substance – first degree (cocaine) and drug paraphernalia-possession.
Both Rucker and Hall were taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
